Information we collect

When you submit a review request or inquiry, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, role, music links, rights details and any royalty income you choose to supply. Calculator scenario inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to Plausible. Our website analytics use page paths and allowlisted source paths, not names, email addresses, form answers, documents or financial amounts. The form may include the public page path where your visit began and the page that led you to Apply; query strings and fragments are not forwarded.

How we use it

We use your information to evaluate your music catalog for potential acquisition, communicate about a review or offer, and respond to your inquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal information. Service providers process information for form storage, hosting, email delivery and, where applicable, payments. Marketing updates require a separate opt-in; leaving that question blank or choosing No is not consent.

Email communications

If you subscribe to The Catalog Report newsletter, we will send you bi-weekly market insights and creator tips. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. If you submit an application, we may contact you about your catalog and any offer we prepare.

Data retention

We retain application and valuation data for up to 24 months to support ongoing conversations about potential acquisitions. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Completed guided-form responses remain in Typeform for review. Our notification queue temporarily encrypts the reply email address and removes it after the email provider accepts the alert, or within two days if sending fails. Notification references and technical status are retained for up to 30 days. Email messages and provider logs have separate retention settings. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

Our website uses cookieless Plausible Analytics and optional session storage for public source paths. A local preference may remember dismissal of the cookie notice. The guided form loads Typeform only after you choose to start it. We disable tracking in the embedded form and do not connect it to Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. Typeform may process technical information required to operate its service; see its privacy notice for details. Blocking website analytics does not prevent a request.

Third-party services

We use Typeform to collect and store guided review requests and inquiries; Formspree remains the receiver for the short-form alternative and earlier submissions. Cloudflare provides website hosting and a signed-webhook notification service. That service receives the Typeform response, discards the other answers, and uses the supplied email address as Reply-To for an internal alert sent by Resend to hello@spacemusic.io. The alert links to our authenticated Typeform response inbox and does not include royalty figures or documents. Our correspondence uses Google Workspace. Stripe processes payments where a separate paid service is offered; this initial review request has no payment question. These providers may process data in countries outside your own. We do not promise EU-only processing across this flow. Their privacy notices and processing terms describe their respective handling of data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@spacemusic.io. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
